The Western Dispatch is the newsletter for the 6th Military District, Sons of Veterans Reserve and is published twice annually. Editions prior to 2019 can be accessed here. The Western Dispatch comes under the responsibility of the District's Public Information Officer.
It is the aim of the 6th Military District staff that The Western Dispatch be the best District newsletter in the SVR. We believe that in our efforts to honor our Union Civil War ancestors, we must publish an outstanding newsletter that not only provides a link to our ancestor's service, but also chronicles the District's efforts to keep their memory alive.
