Dr. Wayne Eder, PCC has been an avid Civil War reenactor and living historian for over 15 years. He holds a graduate program certificate in American Civil War History from American Military University and his Doctorate in Business Administration. Wayne serves as Chaplain of SUVCW Camp 31 in Henderson, Nevada as well as Commanding Officer of Battery A, 3rd United States Artillery, SVR. He currently serves as Department Senior Vice Commander for the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Department of California & the Pacific.
He has also served as the Union Commander (Major) for the Nevada reenacting group Department of the Pacific, Federal Battalion. He portrays a first-person impression of Major General John G. Foster. Battery A, 3rd United States Artillery, received the National SVR Unit Citation for 2013, while Doctor Eder received the National SVR Commander’s Meritorious Service Medal-Silver Star for his service as Commander of the Battery for 2012 & 2013. A retired Fire Chief, he currently serves as an Assistant Fire Chief for the Gazelle FPD (CA), coordinating grants and alternative funding and managing their training program.
Dr. Eder resides in Greater Las Vegas with his wife Suzette and son Wayne II. He is a Subject Matter Expert in history and social studies through the Arizona Department of Education and teaches high school and middle school history and social studies. A published author on fire service and historical subjects, he serves as a guest speaker on 19th Century United States Military operations; particularly on coastal defense, field artillery, the War in the Far West, and dragoon/cavalry tactics.

Robert Mayer is the current commander and a founding member of Battery H, 3rd U.S. Artillery, SVR. He is also the Past Camp Commander of SUVCW Camp No. 24. The past 18 years he has been reenacting the civil war and currently serves as one of the brigade colonels for the NCWA. Robert also serves as an elected department officer of the Department of California and Pacific. He is a former corrections officer and now works as a security director. As commander of Battery H he and the unit have done living history days at Fort Point and Alcatraz. They have also done events at the San Francisco National Cemetery for Memorial and Veterans Day.

In addition to serving as 6th Military District Inspector General, Capt. Stevens is the commanding officer of Company B, 71st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, SVR.

Fred Hall is a native Californian and he and his wife Bonnie are longtime residents of the San Diego area. He is a member of Sgt. William Pittenger SUVCW Camp No. 21 and is the commanding officer of Company G, 5th California Volunteer Infantry, SVR. Fred and his SUVCW brothers have successfully attended local patriotic parades, riding in donated Mustang convertibles, their "ponies". Parades have been a great outlet, showing the community that the Boys-in-Blue are active.

The Rev. Gary Alan Dickey, M.Div., D.Min., Ph.D., was born in Santa Monica and grew up in Southern California. He was ordained in 1969. He was appointed to United Methodist Church of Westlake Village in 2003 after serving churches in Burbank, Pasadena and Canoga Park. He holds academic degrees and diplomas from UCLA, Oxford University, The National Institute for Genealogical Studies, University of Toronto; a Fuller Theological Seminary, Claremont School of Theology, and Trinity Seminary. He is also a Chaplain, (Captain) with the Civil Air Patrol, Auxiliary United States Air Force, Squadron 61, Camarillo. His interests include genealogy, playing the bagpipes, reading and travelling. His vita appears in various editions of “Who’s Who In The World,” “Who’s Who In The West,” “Who’s Who In American Religion,” “Who’s Who In California”, “Two Thousand Notable American Men” and “The International Who’s Who of Professionals.” Rev. Dickey has proudly served as Chaplain of the 6th Military District, Sons of Veterans Reserve since the summer of 2012. As District Chaplain, Dr. Dickey holds the SVR rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
